Nine boys disappear into the wilderness. One escapes. And someone has been watching Rose and Clive.

Rose Clarke thought life was finally settling down. Her family was healing, her search-and-rescue work with Clive had returned to normal, and their latest calls were the kind she understood: find the missing and bring them home.

Then a school trip to Turkey Run State Park goes terribly wrong.

One frightened boy makes it back. Nine of his friends do not.

An armed man forced the boys away from the trail and into the rugged Indiana wilderness. With steep ravines, caves, creeks, dense forest, and worsening weather working against them, Rose and Clive join a massive search before someone gets hurt or disappears for good.

But something about the abduction doesn’t make sense.

The boys aren’t being kept together. They’re being left behind one or two at a time.

Except for one.

As Clive follows a trail designed to confuse even an experienced search dog, Rose begins to realize the man they’re hunting knows far too much about her, her methods, and how Clive works.

This isn’t simply a search.

Someone has been preparing for them.

And somewhere inside Turkey Run, two boys are still waiting to be found.

Lost in Turkey Run is a suspenseful search-and-rescue thriller about courage, friendship, family, and one extraordinary dog who refuses to stop searching.

Perfect for readers who enjoy the K-9 search-and-rescue suspense of The Search by Nora Roberts, the wilderness danger of Those Who Wish Me Dead by Michael Koryta, and the high-stakes missing-person tension of The Chain by Adrian McKinty.

“Lost in Turkey Run” earned a Booky Award for MOST VIVID PLACE.
