Flowers: Smell or Event

Smell, Event, or Childhood?

🌸 Flowers That Stay With Us 🌸

Flowers can be more than something beautiful growing in a garden.

Sometimes a certain flower brings back a person we loved, a place we once lived, a childhood memory, or even a particular season of our lives.

Peonies, tulips, roses, hibiscus, columbine, cactus flowers, carnations, and cherry blossoms are all very different, but each can carry a memory of its own.

That is one of the things I love about flowers. Long after a moment has passed, seeing a familiar bloom can suddenly bring it back.

🌺 Is there a flower that is special to you? What memory or person does it remind you of?

I’d love to hear your story.

Yellow roses always remind me of my mother, whenever I smell a rose, I feel she is near. Beautiful thoughts!
