If you could go back and witness any historical event, which one would you pick?
This is a hard one to answer. What historical event during my lifetime is so important to me? After considering, the first one I felt right about was seeing President JFK’s speech about “Ask not what your country can do for you.” I was too young to understand and at the time, our family didn’t have a TV.
Then I thought about all the past historical events that would be interesting to witness. How far could I go back? What about the biggest events in Roman history? Or maybe to watch “Robert the Bruce,” or the death of Hitler, or man walking on the moon again. There are so many to think about choosing.
