🏡 What Makes a Place Feel Like Home?

Is it the house itself?

The people who are there?

A familiar view, a favorite chair, the smell of something cooking, the sound of birds outside, or simply knowing you belong?

Sometimes a place can feel like home after only a short time. Other places never quite do, no matter how long we stay.

For me, I think “home” is often more about the memories and people connected to a place than the building itself.

What makes a place feel like home to you?

I still feel like Indiana is “home” even though I haven’t lived there in a while. Sometimes home can mean different things to different people and in different places.
