Can You Describe Your Life in Six Words?

Six words. Sounds easy, doesn’t it?
Then you start trying to describe an entire lifetime in only six words.
When I look back over the different stages of my life, I realize my six words probably would have changed many times. Each part of life brings different experiences, priorities, challenges, and accomplishments.
But one phrase has followed me through nearly all of it:
Jack-of-all-trades.
I’ve always felt that if I put my mind to something, worked hard, and was willing to learn, I could usually figure it out. I never felt that one profession, talent, or accomplishment completely defined me.
Some people may have a very clear answer. Maybe yours is something like, “I raised wonderful, successful, loving children.” Or perhaps one career, passion, or purpose has been at the center of your life.
Mine has taken many directions. I’ve called myself a sailor, runner, basketball player, swimmer, traveler, photographer, writer, and plenty of other things along the way.
So perhaps being a jack-of-all-trades describes me better than any single title ever could.
Now comes the challenge:
What six words would you use to describe your life?
