Regret Reading

Have I regretted reading a Book?

Never.

How else do we discover new authors, new subjects, new ideas, or even new ways of looking at the world if we never take a chance on a book we know nothing about?

Sometimes I finish a book and realize it simply wasn’t for me. But I still learned something from reading it, even if that lesson was just, “This isn’t the kind of story I enjoy.”

Reading is one of the easiest ways to step outside our usual routines and try something different. Not every book will become a favorite, but every book gives us a chance to discover something new.

So no, I don’t regret reading books.

I’d regret never taking the chance on them.
