Longest Trip Taken

What’s the longest trip you’ve ever taken? I had to laugh when I saw this Daily Prompt. I just did a post about the Birds of Botswana, and it tied for my longest trip.

My Botswana adventure lasted about the same amount of time as another unforgettable trip: four days in Venice followed by a ten-day cruise.

They were completely different experiences, but both were incredible in their own way. Botswana gave me wildlife, open landscapes, and unforgettable moments with my camera. Venice gave me canals, history, architecture, and a city unlike anywhere else I’ve visited.

Both remain among my favorite trips.

What’s the longest trip you’ve ever taken, and where did you go?

The longest trips I have ever taken have been to New Hampshire, usually about 10-12 days.

New Hampshire is beautiful. I’ve driven through several times.

The longest trip I’ve taken is to the ICE HOTEL in Jukkasjarvi, where I got married. Every room is sculpted in a different theme. We had the Egyptian Room!
