Which Celebrity Would I Like to Meet?
Choosing just one? That’s asking a lot! There are several people I’d enjoy talking with, so I’m dividing my list into those who are gone and those I’d still love the chance to meet.
At the top of my first list is John Wayne. His life, career, and movies have always intrigued me. I’d love to hear his stories about making those films and the people he worked with.
Next would be Walter Payton and John F. Kennedy. Two very different conversations, but I suspect I’d have plenty of questions for both.
As for people I could still meet, Larry Bird comes to mind immediately. Shooting a few hoops and talking basketball with him would be quite an afternoon. Notice I said shooting hoops, not challenging him to a game. I have some sense!
Then there’s Kevin Costner and Mary McDonnell. I loved Dances with Wolves and would enjoy hearing about their experiences making it.
Finally, I’d love to sit down with Robert Ballard. Imagine the stories he could tell about exploring the ocean. That conversation might require several cups of coffee and absolutely no plans for the rest of the day.
Apparently, I don’t need a celebrity meet-and-greet. I need an entire weekend!
Who would you choose, and what would you ask them?
