The Redwoods Remember won 2nd Place at Book Fest

, , , , ,

Apparently, the surprises hiding among the redwoods weren’t just for my characters! 🌲🏆

The Redwoods Remember received Second Place in Fiction – Supernatural – Supernatural Creatures & Beings at The BookFest Fall 2026 Awards!

When I created Sekoia and its shifter community, I hoped readers would want to spend time there. I never imagined I’d be celebrating this kind of recognition for their story.

I’m truly honored—and still shaking my head in happy disbelief. These people and places began in my imagination. Getting to share them with you is a joy; seeing their story recognized makes it even sweeter.

Thank you for exploring my worlds with me. 💚📚

Thank you Charlie. I’m excited and shocked, but flying high.

    Congratulations Karen.

I know how it feels to be among the winners in a contest. When my poem, What A Man Suppose To Be, was placed among the winners of a poetry contest, I could not believe it.

Once again, congratulations on your wins.

Thank you, Bernadette. I’m still in shock but so excited. I’m keeping my fingers crossed and prayers going up for the contest announcements in November.
