Children of the Corn is one movie that stayed with me. Maybe it was because I had to drive through Iowa cornfields that looked exactly like the ones in the movie. Those long stretches of road felt a little different afterward!
There are horror movies I’ll never watch and others I’ll never watch again. Slasher movies usually aren’t for me, especially when the characters keep making decisions that have me talking back to the screen. But a movie that makes an ordinary place feel threatening? That’s the kind of fear that follows you home.
